Think of this as an open mic, but without the limitation that what’s shared has to involve a microphone. This is a space to share your unique gifts, celebrate the creativity of others, and connect in a supportive, playful environment. Many of us have talents, passions, or interests that go unseen and finding ways to express them can be hard.
We’ve had improv comedy, songs, poems, stories, PowerPoints, juggling, acrobatics, and plenty of delicious food—every kind of expression is welcome! Share if you’d like, or simply come to witness, support, and be inspired.
We’re super excited to have local artist and photographer Drew Bandy joining us for this Gift Exchange! He will be capturing moments from our event, and performers will have access to photos of their performance shortly after the event. You are welcome to do with them as you want, as long as they credit Drew as the photographer :) Anyone attending that prefers not to be shown in photos can be blurred out upon request.
If you’re able to carpool with anyone else coming that would help a lot! Please also park strategically to allow for maximum space (in front of the garage is great, too).
There is no need to bring anything other than what you will need if you’re performing. You’re welcome to bring some snacks if you would like!
